Most of us have heard that cell-phone usage could expose you to unhealthy levels of radiation. But when accumulated over time, exposure to radiation can result in cancer, DNA damage and a weakened immune system. (study) DNA damage disrupts normal cell growth and protein production. In 2011 the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), released the statement that cell phone radiation is a possible human carcinogen.

Many studies have found that mobile phone radiation quickly alters and damages your DNA. A six-year industry study showed that human blood exposure to cell phone radiation had a 300 percent increase in genetic damage in the form of micronuclei, suggesting a health threat much greater than smoking or asbestos.

Radiation Health Dangers Include:

Chronic fatigue
Digestive problems
Memory problems
Chronic stress
Heart palpitations

Protect Yourself from Cell phone Radiation with Rosemary

Radiation can be removed from your body through many natural methods such as rosemary and rosemary essential oil. They posses powerful antioxidant properties against radiation damage.

The British Journal of Radiology, February 2, 2009 found that the fat soluble carnosol and carnosic acids in rosemary provide highly significant protective anti-mutagenic activity. Rosmarinic acid from rosemary acts as a photo-protector both by acting as a scavenger of free radicals and as an inducer of the bodys own endogenous defense mechanisms. They found that formulation of toxic production was delayed by the use of rosmarinic acid, and the protection factor was 3.34 times greater than for other compounds studied, as measured in micronucleus testing.

How to Use it:

      Make rosemary tea.

2 cups boiled water
2-3 tsp finely chopped leaves

  • Add the chopped rosemary herb to a cup (you can find it here)
  • Pour on the boiled water and let steep for 5 to 10 minutes

Drink Daily

Combine rosemary essential oil with a carrier oil (such as jojoba, coconut or or avocado) and apply on the bottom of your feet daily. Rosemary essential oil can also be inhaled after sprinkling a few drops of the oil onto a cloth or tissue, or by using an aromatherapy diffuser or vaporizer.
